Mary Stucky is lead journalist, co-founder and president of Round Earth Media.

Based in Minneapolis, Round Earth Media trains and supports the next generation of independent global reporters, photographers and filmmakers to produce under-reported stories for top tier media outlets around the world.

Stucky is a long-time contributor of National Public Radio, Public Radio International and America Public Media (e.g., Marketplace, The World, All Things Considered), CBS Radio, FRONTLINE/World, NBC-TV and ABC-TV affiliates, Telemundo and Univision.

In 2012, Stucky launched a ground-breaking program in Morocco, working one-on-one with college studetns who aspire to be foreign correspondents.

Stucky’s reports on Chinese and Hmong immigrants were part of the documentary series “Crossing East,” which won a 2006 Peabody Award. Her reporting awards also include the New York Festivals’ Gold World Medal.

Prior to founding Round Earth, Stucky was a reporter/anchor for the NBC-TV affiliate in Minneapolis. She is a graduate of Carleton College in Northfield, Minn.
