Join us for “on the record” a high school journalism convention focused on why reporting matters and how to do it ethically and effectively. Whether it’s hyper-local news or social media livestreaming, our presenters will be there to share reporting experiences and develop your student journalism skills.
What to expect
MHSPA’s State Convention is the place to be this fall. Come learn from local journalists, student media leaders and journalism advisers Oct. 8 at the University of Minnesota. Here’s what you can look forward to:
- Three breakout sessions with plenty of topics to pick from
- An excellent keynote speaker
- Awards ceremony featuring the Best of Show winners, All State awards and Gold Medallion Awards
